Yeida will buy the remaining plot, will promote infrastructure, know the whole thing
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) has launched a plan to buy small plots (plots) scattered in its area, so that the incomplete projects of roads, drainage, sewerage treatment plants and other basic facilities can be completed. According to the news of Hindustan Times, according to Yeida officials, 80% of the land has been acquired so far in Sector 5, 5A, 8, 8D, 10, 13, 17, 17A, 18, 20, 21, 22A, 22D, 22E, 28, 29, 32 and 33. The remaining 20% of the land is stopped due to legal disputes and ownership complications.
Authority will interact directly with farmers
According to the news, now the authority is working directly to the farmers and working on a plan to buy land in 10 acres of plots. For this, a list of sector -wise farmers is being made so that the process of acquisition can be completed at the earliest. It is being told that this will give life to incomplete projects. According to the news, Yida CEO R.K. Singh said that our goal is to acquire 100% land in all the sectors, so that settlement and industrial activities can be carried forward rapidly. This is our priority.
Many projects will now be able to gain momentum
Many projects pending over years can now gain momentum. Plots were allotted in sector 18 and 20 since 2009, but even today many allotty are waiting for the land. At the same time, 115 industrial plot holders of Sector 32 and 33 have been waiting for the plot since 2013. The proposed STP for Medical Device Park (Sector 28) and Apparel Park (Sector 29) has not been constructed due to incomplete land procurement. A semiconductor unit is also proposed in Sector 28. Officials say that all these projects will be completed on time as soon as the land acquisition process is completed, especially before the Noida International Airport starts.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority was formed on 24 April 2001 under the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Area Development Act, 1976. Its main objective is to promote industrial and urban development in the surrounding areas of the Yamuna Expressway.
