Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Namma Metro Yellow line of Bengaluru today. The Metro’s Yellow line will start its fixed time frame before August 15. The 19.15 km long section from RV Road to Bomasandra expects the people of the city to be very easy to travel.

There are 16 stations in this line

The Yellow line has 16 stations. It includes RV Road, Ragi Gudda, Jaidev Hospital, BTM Layout, Central Silk Board, Bommana Hall, Hongra Sandra, Kudlu Gate, Singa Sandra, Hosa Road, Beretna Agrahara, Electronic City, Infosys Foundation Konappana Agarhar, Husk Agarhar, Husk, Hebba Road and Bomasandra.

Know how much rent is?

According to Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), trains will run daily from 5 am to 11 pm. Initially, three driverless trains will run at an interval of 25 minutes. The fare will start from Rs 10 to a maximum of Rs 90.

Yellow line will cover the highest traffic part

The Yellow Line of Namma Metro is a revolutionary change for people coming from Bangalore south. The line passes through the Silk Board Junction, which is the most traffic junction in the city. After the pink line is operational, the Jayideva Hospital will be an interchange station on the Yellow line. After opening the blue line, the Central Silk Board will be an interchange station. The Blue Metro will start from the Central Silk Board and end at the Bengaluru International Airport.

Know how much it cost?

The Yellow line project is built at a cost of 5,057 crores. During his visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the third phase of Namma Metro, which is a major expansion connecting Bengaluru. The project has recently been approved by the Union Cabinet, which reflects the government’s commitment to the implementation of the urban infrastructure.
