The strength of the Indian Navy has increased further. On Tuesday, the Navy includes two new Waraships INS Udayagiri and INS Himgiri. India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh handed over both the warships to the Navy on Visakhapatnam Naval Base of Andhra Pradesh to the Navy. Let us tell you that both these warships are indigenous. During the induction of these warships, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said a very special thing. Rajnath Singh has told the Navy that he has made F-35 running on the sea.

What did Rajnath Singh say?

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in his address- “I want to congratulate the Navy for one more thing that today you have launched the indigenous F-35 (Udaygiri) warship. A country in the world has a fly fly in the air, you have made F-35 running on the sea, that too makes in India. Congratulations to you.”

Where are the two warships?

Let us tell you that this is the first time that the warships built in two different shipyards of the country have been included in the Navy simultaneously. INS Udayagiri has been created by Majgaon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Mumbai. This warship is named after the Udayagiri ranges of Andhra Pradesh. Majgaon Dock has prepared this ship in only 37 months. While INS Himgiri has been made by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers of Kolkata.

These warrips have been designed in such a way that they cannot get into the grip of enemy radar, infra red and sound sensors. In both the Warships, 75 percent indigenous items are installed in warships. These warships can also be deployed from India to far-flung marine areas such as Indo Pacific. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that these warships will be used in the defense of the country as well as the mission of human aid.
