New Delhi: In Agra, after the live suicide video of a young man went viral on Instagram, his life was saved due to the promptness of the police. The case is of the Trans Yamuna police station, where a young man tried to commit suicide by consuming poison after a breakup with his girlfriend. Live video of the incident was uploaded on social media site Instagram.

When the media cell of the police commissioner saw this live video, they immediately took action and informed the Trans Yamuna police station. The police team showed promptness and did not delay in reaching the spot after finding out the location of the youth. On reaching the spot, the police broke the door and took out the youth, who was in an unconscious state at that time. After this he was immediately admitted to the hospital, where doctors started his treatment.

The young man told the police that he was under deep stress due to the breakup with his girlfriend and being disappointed with life, he took the step of suicide. The police counseled the youth and explained it to him. The youth regretted his action and expressed gratitude for the help of the police. Giving information, Police Station Trans Yamuna in-charge Bhanu Pratap Singh said that after watching the Instagram live video of the youth, the police immediately came into action. At the same time, if information was not received on time, it could have been difficult to save the life of the young man. At present, the police pacified the young man and sent him home and advised him to think positively in his future life.
