Zim vs SL: Sri Lanka captured the series by crushing Zimbabwe in second ODI, these 2 players became heroes of victory

After receiving the first batting, Zimbabwe scored 277 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the prescribed 50 overs and Sikander Raza scored an unbeaten 59 in 55 balls. Apart from this, Clive Madande contributed 46 runs.

For Sri Lanka, Dushmanta Chamera took 3 wickets, Asitha Fernando took 2 wickets, Dilshan Madushaka and Janith Liange took 1- 1 wicket.

In response to this, Sri Lanka won at the loss of 5 wickets while remaining 3 balls. Opening batsman Pathum Nisanka scored 122 runs in 136 balls with the help of 16 fours in 136 balls. Captain Charith Asalanka scored 71 runs in 61 balls, in which he hit 7 fours.

For Zimbabwe, Richard Nagarwa and Brad Avans took 2–2 wickets and Ernest Masuku took 1 wicket.

Nisanka was adjudged Player of the Match and Series for her brilliant performance.
