Earlier, at 2.40 pm, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh had reached Dhami Tunnel. Union Minister and Ghaziabad MP, former General VK Singh was also present with him. Warm clothes were also sent to the workers. Family members of the workers were also present outside the tunnel.

According to the information, after rescuing the workers trapped in the tunnel, they were made to lie down on mattresses installed inside the tunnel and their health check-up was done. After this he was sent to the hospital through the ambulance present inside.

Let us tell you that 41 laborers working in Silkyara Tunnel were trapped in the tunnel on 12th November, the day of Diwali. To get the workers out of the tunnel, the rescue teams were doing rat hole mining and vertical drilling from above the tunnel and the rescue teams had asked the relatives of the workers to keep their clothes and bags ready. After evacuating the workers, they were taken to the hospital.

41 ambulances were deployed to take workers to the hospital in and out of the tunnel. A laborer was being taken to the hospital in Chinali Soud in an ambulance.

Earlier, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami had told that the NDRF team is fully prepared outside the tunnel and an ambulance is also parked outside the tunnel. Some time ago, it was told by the Uttarakhand government that the workers would be evacuated within a few hours. The hustle and bustle outside the tunnel has increased considerably. Workers were seen carrying stretchers and mattresses into the tunnel. At the same time, slogans of Jai Mata were also being raised by the workers from inside the tunnel. A medical team is deployed outside the tunnel.

Two teams from two private companies were deployed for human-based excavation. One team included 5 experts, while the other team included 7 experts. These 12 members were divided into several teams.
