The special jury award, presented for outstanding contributions to films, includes a Silver Peacock medal, ₹15 lakh, and a certificate.
Previously, Rishab Shetty’s Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai (2018), produced and directed by him bagged the Best Children’s Film at the 66th National Film Awards.
His directorial debut Kirik Party (2016) became a runaway hit. The film launched Rashmika Mandanna as an actress alongside Rakshit Shetty.
