Pankaj Dheer: OTT has been used in a wrong way, people in small towns and villages of India still have many values.

Pankaj Dheer Slams Ott Content Says India Is Cultured: Well-known TV and Bollywood actor Pankaj Dheer, who has worked in many excellent TV serials and films, said that OTT has been used in the wrong way. Pankaj Dheer has also admitted that the content of OTT is quite obscene and full of abuses.

In a recent exclusive interview, Pankaj gave us his views on OTT and said, “This is bad manners.” You were given exemption and you are misusing it. See, there are some things, like we sometimes show that Bachchan Saheb is brushing teeth or sitting on the pot, these are all understood things that this happens to a person in the morning. But there is no need to show. There are many things that happen to humans that do not need to be shown. We are showing all those things because your mind is dirty and nothing else. A scene which could be done very well anywhere else will be shown in filth. Have taken unnecessary advantage of it. Useless things like bad language, abuses, what is the use of it?

Giving further thoughts on OTT, Pankaj said, see, the family cannot sit and watch. There are many such subjects of OTT, where it becomes difficult to watch because there is shyness of the eyes. Because even today our India is 80% small towns and villages, there are only a few big cities, but the people who live there (small towns/villages) still have a lot of values, there is shame in their eyes. Pankaj finally said that film makers should keep in mind that cinema means entertainment and a project should be made with this approach and not serve filth and obscenity in it.
