Canalys Research has said that if the company ends support in Windows-10, it will affect 240 million computers and all the systems will become junk. It was also told that the waste generated from these computers will be about 480 million kilograms which is equivalent to about 3,20,200 vehicles.
Not only this, if security update is not available in Windows-10 then the demand for its devices may also decline. However, the company has announced plans to provide security updates for Windows 10 devices at an annual rate until 2028.
When will support end?
Support for Microsoft Windows 10 OS will end after October 10, 2025. It is being said that the company can continue providing support till 2028 with some annual price.
