Preparation to turn BJP workers of Maharashtra into Bajrangbali for Modi
Naveen Kumar
The way BJP has hoisted the victory flag in three Hindi speaking states of the country and formed its government there, its confidence has increased a lot. But the situation of BJP in Maharashtra is a little different. Here BJP's self-confidence seems a little weak. This scene was revealed in the meeting of officials of Maharashtra State in Nagpur. A very serious issue was raised in this meeting that the magic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is only on the people of Hindi speaking states. On this, BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis has very clearly tried to allay the apprehensions of the state officials. He said that Modi has a magic on the people of Maharashtra that is why we have been able to win 42 seats in the two Lok Sabha elections. Fadnavis may have tried to allay the apprehensions. But a truth is also emerging at the ground level that it is not very easy for the BJP to win the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Maharashtra. There is some internal weakness due to which Maharashtra BJP is afraid. Whereas BJP has succeeded in breaking the two strong parties of the state, Shiv Sena and NCP and has also included one faction each of these broken parties in its alliance. BJP is also ruling the state in collaboration with these two groups. It is not difficult for BJP to win elections while enjoying the pleasures of power. Despite this, BJP is going through such an internal fear for which it needs the help of Bajrangbali. BJP is now motivating its own workers to become Bajrangbali. Fadnavis has clearly said in this meeting that to win the next Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, the workers will have to become Bajrangbali. Referring to the Ram-Ravana war, Fadnavis said that remember how Bajrangbali had devastated Lanka. Similarly, BJP workers will have to become Bajrangbali for Modi. The way Fadnavis expressed his sentiments, his preparation to turn BJP workers into Bajrangbali is visible. Before this meeting, there was also a meeting of RSS with senior leaders of BJP. There was a brainstorming session on how Modi could win 45 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra.
The way people voted for BJP in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, it is also clear that Modi's attraction has spread to the people of the Hindi heartland. Modi himself is an MP from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, it is natural to express apprehension about the magic of Modi in non-Hindi states and it is also important to understand the cycle of politics in non-Hindi states apart from the national level. However, the way the old face of the Chief Minister was replaced by a new face in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, a message has been sent to the party at the national level that the party high command is keeping an eye on the ordinary workers of BJP and those who are Karmyogi workers. The chair of even the Chief Minister is available for him. Vasundhara Raje in Rajasthan, Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Madhya Pradesh and Raman Singh in Chhattisgarh were kept out of the reach of the Chief Minister's chair. This also tested the self-confidence of the BJP high command. The BJP high command has full confidence in its workers due to which it is ready to crush any kind of rebellion. It is believed that BJP has strengthened the party at the organizational level by showing the Chief Minister's chair to the ordinary workers. Preparations are on to conduct the same experiment in Maharashtra also. Fadnavis has given a clear indication of this in the meeting of officials. Fadnavis has also said that the common worker will get his place. The common worker has to do his work honestly for the party and due to his work the party will gain power. The status of an ordinary worker in the party is great. This is enough to fill the enthusiasm of ordinary workers. By the way, it is important to give importance to the common worker in any party. If the common worker feels that he is not going to get the fruits of his work then the party will weaken. The importance of ordinary BJP workers has reduced slightly in Maharashtra. Because, there is a gathering of outsiders in BJP. Rebel Congressmen and tainted people are getting preference in BJP and the hard working workers of BJP are staring at them. Ordinary BJP workers in Maharashtra are upset and they are silent only after seeing Modi's face. But this silence of ordinary workers can slowly give a strong blow to BJP in any election.
The political situation of Maharashtra is different from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The way BJP has prepared its political equation in Maharashtra, the game of political mathematics like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh cannot be played in Maharashtra. Unlike Maharashtra, there is no alliance game in those three states. Therefore, ordinary workers of Maharashtra BJP are not able to directly touch the magic of Modi. BJP has its own political compulsions in Maharashtra while the party has also increased its popularity. But BJP on its own has not been able to generate confidence for Modi to win 45 Lok Sabha seats and form the government in the Assembly. This is the reason why BJP has been forced to form an alliance with parties like Shiv Sena and NCP. The government in Maharashtra is running under the leadership of Shiv Sena's Eknath Shinde. BJP has joined NCP out of political compulsion. It is not easy to run a power shop. When a partner is made in power, each partner would like to fulfill his/her ambitions and NCP's Ajit is also vocal about his ambitions. Both Shinde and Ajit have rebelled in their party and joined hands with the BJP along with their faction. Now it cannot be thought that Shinde and Ajit will remain puppets in the hands of BJP. If they have rebelled then they too will have to show their mettle in the next elections. For this, Shinde and Ajit are also busy strengthening their ground. There are some issues related to public concern which Shinde as Chief Minister has resolved very well and due to this he has gone ahead of BJP in popularity. To further Bala Saheb's Hindutva, Shinde has sent his Shiv Sainiks to Ayodhya. Shinde is playing an important role in providing treatment to the poor. Shinde is also doing a better job in controlling the Maratha movement and solving the problems of the farmers. Shinde is now ready to challenge Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena. Ajit has not been able to prepare a situation like Shinde yet. He is putting his energy into becoming the Chief Minister in place of Shinde. Along with BJP, Maratha and OBC voters also seem angry with Ajit. Modi is the only support for BJP. BJP workers in Maharashtra are being asked to make people aware about the schemes of the Central Government. Modi is no longer the chariot of Sankalp Yatra but the chariot of guarantee. In such a situation, the people of the state can ask BJP what is the guarantee of Maharashtra BJP. When BJP has broken Shiv Sena and NCP, Uddhav and Sharad Pawar are not going to remain silent. Uddhav and Sharad know how to defeat the rebels. Along with this, Maha Vikas Aghadi of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress alliance is also working on its strategy to defeat BJP. There are problems related to the general public of the state due to which Aghadi has opened a front against BJP. Maharashtra BJP also has its own election strategy on which it is working and under the same strategy, common workers are being motivated to become Bajrangbali. This strategy of BJP is part of Hinduism.
