Breaking News: Tata Motors Opens Exclusive Tata.ev Showrooms for Electric Cars in India!
The demand for electric cars in India has increased significantly, as evidenced by the opening of separate showrooms by the country's largest electric car maker, Tata Motors. The first showroom has been opened in Sector 14, Gurugram. The showroom is named Tata.ev and similar showrooms will be opened in different parts of the country. These showrooms will exclusively sell Tata's electric cars. One of the reasons for opening separate showrooms for electric cars is that Tata's range will include four to five electric cars in the next year. This will give customers a special experience with the new showrooms.
Currently, Tata Motors has electric variants of Nexon, Tiago, and Tigor. However, this year, the company's range may also include electric versions of Punch. The showroom that has been opened in Gurugram will be open to the general public from January 7th next year.
Tata Motors' marketing head has revealed that they are starting new outlets and will open two to three outlets in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. There are plans to enter tier-2 cities by the end of 2024. According to the information received, Tata will launch new electric cars one after another next year, starting with the Tata Punch.
After that, Tata will introduce the Tata Curve Electric, Harrier Electric, Sierra Electric, and Altroz Electric. With their arrival, Tata will have a significant share in the electric car market, as the company currently covers 70% of the market alone.
According to a report released by the company, the long-standing number one electric car in India, Nexon, has now been surpassed by Tata's Tiago. Due to its affordability, this car is being preferred by customers.
In summary, Tata Motors has started opening separate showrooms for its electric cars in various cities in India. With the introduction of new electric car models, Tata aims to increase its market share in the electric car segment. The affordability of the Tiago electric car has made it popular among customers, surpassing the sales of the Nexon electric car.
