New Delhi: Central employees and pensioners are going to have fun once again, because two big gifts can be given simultaneously by the government. It is believed that the government may soon increase the DA of the employees, after which it is considered possible to increase the basic salary.
Apart from this, the government can also announce increase in fitment factor which will be like a big gift. In times of inflation, if the government takes both these decisions, then it will be like a booster dose, which will provide great relief.
Apart from this, Modi government has not taken this decision officially, but media reports are claiming it to be soon. According to some reports, both these announcements are considered possible before the Lok Sabha elections.
DA will increase by this percentage
DA of central employees is going to increase by 4 percent soon. After this, DA will increase to 50 percent, due to which it is considered possible to increase the basic salary. However, at present employees and pensioners are getting 46 percent DA.
If there is an increase in this now, then more than one crore families will see its benefits. The government has not made any official announcement, but this claim is being made soon in media reports.
Anyway, according to the report of the Seventh Pay Commission, DA was increased twice every year. Its rates are implemented from July 1 and January 1. If DA is increased now, its rates will be implemented from January 1.
Fitment factor will increase
It is considered possible for the Modi government at the Center to give the gift of increase in fitment factor to the central employees. The government has not increased the fitment factor for a long time, which can now be approved.
According to some reports, the fitment factor may be increased from 2.60 times to 3.0 times. This will lead to a record-breaking increase in basic salary. The government has not yet decided when the fitment factor will be increased.
