Talking about the sequel of the film, Mavra has been dropped from ‘Sanam Teri Kasam 2’. His co-star Harshvardhan Rane announced on Instagram that if the previous cast in the film was repeated, he would not be a part of it. He wrote, ‘Although I am grateful for this experience, but after reading the comments made about my country, I have decided that if the previous cast is repeated, I will withdraw it respectfully.’ The film’s directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru also confirmed that Mavra is no longer a part of this franchise. Mavra described Harshvardhan’s move as a PR stunt, whose actor also gave a befitting reply.
