New Delhi: Powerhouses Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Jyotika have joined forces in Vikas Bahl’s supernatural thriller titled ‘Shaitan’. The actors unveiled the first look of the film on Friday (19 January 2024) and announced the release date as well.
Shaitan Release Date
Taking to Instagram, Ajay Devgn shared the first look poster of his upcoming film titled ‘Shaitan’. The bone chilling image featured 5 voodoo dolls, further hinting the theme of supernatural thriller elements. The actor captioned his post with, “#Shaitaan is coming for you. Taking over cinemas on 8th March 2024.(sic)”

Helmed by Vikas Bahl, Shaitan marks the return of Jyotika to Hindi cinema after a long hiatus of 25 years. The actress made her acting debut in Doli Saja Ke Rakhna back in 1997. She then ventured into the Tamil film industry and made a significant mark for herself in the South. She was last seen in a Bollywood film in 2001 titled ‘Little John’. Shaitan will also mark the Bollywood debut of Janki Bodiwala.
Shaitan is presented by Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn FFilms, and Panorama Studios International and is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.

Ajay Devgn is currently shooting for ‘Raid 2’. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Vani Kapoor. Besides Shaitan, the actor also has the fifth instalment of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe ‘Singham 3’ aka ‘Singham Again’ in the pipeline.
The highly anticipated sequel also stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. As per reports, the film is slated to be released in August 2024.
Ajay is also awaiting the release of his sports film, Maidaan. Speaking with Pinkvilla, the actor called ‘Maidaan’ one of his best films till date. He told the publication that the VFX is handled by international studios. Maidaan is slated for a 12 May 2024 release.
