Modi magic defeated Selja in 3 days in Haryana's Sirsa Lok Sabha, this is the masterplan
Sirsa Loksabha Election: Now BJP has taken charge of Sirsa Loksabha seat of Haryana. In just three days, BJP has defeated Kumari Selja of Congress on the seat considered the weakest and has shown Modi magic on the ground. The electoral equations have changed after INLD's entry.
In fact, in 2019, Sunita Duggal had registered a big victory on behalf of BJP in Sirsa Lok Sabha seat, bordering Punjab and Rajasthan. This time BJP was facing tremendous opposition in Punjabi and Jat dominated areas.
Here BJP has fielded Dr. Ashok Tanwar, Congress has fielded Kumari Selja, INLD has fielded Sandeep Lott and JJP has fielded Ramesh Khattak. Apart from these, more than 25 candidates from different parties and independents are in the electoral fray.
According to speculative market and political experts, BJP had fielded its candidate on this seat in time but there was personal opposition from Ashok Tanwar. Here the core voters of BJP also seemed angry with Tanwar's ticket. But just before the elections, these BJP voters have again become active to vote in the name of Modi.
On the other hand, Kumari Selja was fielded from Congress at the last moment. As soon as Kumari Selja entered the election field, it gained tremendous momentum. The word of mouth publicity took Selja's election to its full peak.
Meenu Bainiwal's rallies spoiled the equation
The huge crowd gathering in the rallies and programs of social worker and BJP leader Captain Meenu Bainiwal in Ellenabad constituency has spoiled the electoral equation of Selja. Congress, which wants a big lead in Ellenabad constituency, may have to face the biggest defeat in this constituency. Meenu Bainiwal has also made Congress realize her popularity by holding a big rally in Madhosighana.
Now, according to political experts, Selja's election has become a loss due to it reaching its peak so soon. At the same time, distance from the campaigning of senior Congress leaders has increased Selja's problems. Crowds are gathering in Selja's programs but they are gathering only to see Selja whereas they want to vote to make Modi the Prime Minister.
What is the situation in the 9th Assembly?
In 9 assembly constituencies of Sirsa Lok Sabha, BJP has secured its hold on 4 seats – Ellenabad, Fatehabad, Tohana and Dabwali, while BJP is likely to get a good hold on 2 seats – Sirsa and Tohana. Whereas in three weak seats Kalanwali, Ratia and Raniya, the team has prepared a special plan and entered the electoral fray.
There are two belts in Sirsa Lok Sabha. One bagri and the other Punjabi belt. Selja has more influence in the Punjabi belt, while BJP, INLD and Congress are in competition in the Bagri belt. Modi's name is discussed more in Dabwali, which is called the stronghold of Chautala.
There is a contest between Congress and BJP in the city. Seeing the strong position of Selja in front of Tanwar, BJP has suddenly changed its election strategy here. Instead of Tanwar, Modi face is being put forward. BJP also seems to be successful in this strategy. At the same time, Hooda group seems to be missing from Selja's campaign.
Talking about Fatehabad, Selja has got the support of Chandramohan. However, no big leader is with Selja in Fatehabad. At the same time, BJP candidate has got the support of leaders like Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala, Ratia MLA Laxman Napa and Dudaram in Fatehabad.
