In view of the scorching heat, holidays declared till 31st May for children up to class 12th in the district.

Deputy Commissioner RK Singh has declared holidays for students from Kindergarten to class 12th in all the schools (government, private and aided) of the district due to the scorching heat.
In view of the extremely hot weather/heat wave, all the schools in the district will have holidays for students up to class 12th till May 31 and all teaching/non-teaching staff will be present in the school as usual. All Block Education Officers will ensure strict compliance of the orders. School managers will ensure that all students get their homework for the holidays.
He appealed to the common people to cover their heads in summer, use clothes, hat or umbrella and not go out barefoot. Be sure to take some rest in between work. Avoid consuming junk food during the summer season. Eat fresh fruits, salads and home cooked food.
Especially do not go in direct sunlight between 12 noon and 4 pm. If the child feels dizzy, has vomiting, nervousness or severe headache, chest pain or difficulty in breathing, then definitely consult a doctor.
He said that in view of the summer season, keep adequate quantity of water, ORS, home made drinks like lassi, lemonade, buttermilk bottles with you. Wear a headscarf and full-sleeved clothes while going out of the house.
