SBI Bank warns against APK fraud

Let us tell you that APK file also allows third parties to provide all your information. Through which hackers can easily obtain all the information and commit fraud. It is known that earlier SBI had forbidden its customers through social media to open any kind of link through WhatsApp and messages. So that the customer can avoid fraud.

How does APK fraud happen?

●First of all hackers send the link to the customer through message or WhatsApp.

●When the customer clicks and installs the APK, various types of warnings appear on his screen.

●After that the hacker gets a connection on his hacking device, after which the hackers get access to that mobile phone and the customers become victims of fraud.

You can protect yourself in these ways

●If the size of the APK file appears in a few KB then never download that link.

●Once the APK file is installed, if it asks for permissions including camera, microphone, GPS, contacts, SMS etc. then immediately remove such programs from your phone.

●If you have antivirus software installed in your phone, your phone will be immediately marked as a threat. It means that this APK file is not safe.

●Users should follow the warnings of Google Play Store.

●Keep rebooting your phone from time to time.
