Rs 1.15 lakh looted from cattle trader at gunpoint; The miscreant came on the pretext of taking lift
In Haryana, a case of robbery of Rs 1.15 lakh from a cattle trader at gunpoint has come to light near Nagla Rodan, Karnal. The victim is a resident of Lakhnauti village of Gangoh, UP. On receiving the information, DSP Sonu Narwal, in-charge of Indri police station reached the spot along with the police force and started investigation after talking to the victim. At present the police say that the matter is being investigated whether this incident took place or not.
The victim Shakeel told that he trades animals. He buys animals from Ismailabad in Kurukshetra. When he had to give money to someone, he left home with Rs 1 lakh 15 thousand. He was riding a bike. When he reached near Nagla Rodan, a man asked him for a lift and he took him on his bike. At some distance, the person pointed a pistol at his waist and took him towards the forest on a dirt road and ran away after snatching Rs 1,15,000 from his pocket.
Indri police station in-charge Shri Bhagwan said that Shakeel told him that a person had looted Rs 1 lakh 15 thousand from him at gunpoint. This is still a matter of investigation because Shakeel told that the person had snatched Rs 1.15 lakh from him but the money is still in Shakeel’s pocket. He also has a mobile and bike. Shakeel also told that after the incident he had gone home, then he came back from home and then he called dial 112. For this reason this matter is being investigated.
