New Delhi: Every corner of India speaks about heritage and its history. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on a visit to Nigeria, Brazil, and Guyana, carried with him unique gifts from all over the world. The gifts belonged from Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha and Ladakh.

Maharashtra
- Silofar Panchamrit Kalash (Pot) (given to the President of Nigeria): The Silofar Panchamrit Kalash is a beautiful example of traditional art from Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
- Warli paintings (given to the President of Brazil and as part of the customised gift hamper given to leaders of CARICOM countries): Warli Paintings are a type of tribal art from the Warli tribe in Maharashtra. This tribe mainly lives in the Dahanu, Talasari, and Palghar areas.
- Natural Rough Amethyst with Silver Camel Head on Top (given to the Prime Minister of Australia).
- Hand-carved silver chess set with traditional design (given to the Prime Minister of Portugal).
- Exquisite Silver Candle Stand (given to the Prime Minister of Italy).

Andhra Pradesh
- A Silver Clutch Purse (given to the Spouse of the President of Brazil): The purse has semi-precious stones and features detailed floral designs.
- Araku Coffee (given to leaders of CARICOM countries in a customised gift hamper): The coffee is grown by the indigenous communities in the Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh.
Jharkhand
- Sohrai painting (given to the Vice President of Nigeria): The Sohrai Painting belongs to Hazaribagh. It depictsure. It reflects how tribal people reflect and their respect for a while.
- Khovar Painting (given to the President of Indonesia): The Khovar painting represents the cultural diversity of Jharkhand. This art comes from the tribal areas of Jharkhand and is a traditional form of creativity.
Jammu and Kashmir
- Papier-mâché gold work vases (given to the Prime Minister of the UK)
- Pashmina Shawl in Papier Mache Box (given to the First Lady of Guyana)
- Kashmiri Saffron (given to leaders of CARICOM Countries in a customised gift hamper)
Rajasthan
- Silver Photo Frame with Floral Work (given to the President of Argentina): This Silver Photo Frame, with its detailed metalwork and traditional designs, shows the state’s rich heritage.
- Marble Inlay Work (given to the Prime Minister of Norway): It is known as ‘Pietra Dura’ and has a base marble sourced from Makrana, Rajasthan.
- Gold Work Wooden Raj Sawari figurine (given to the Prime Minister of Guyana): The figurine is a beautiful example of traditional Indian craft. It features detailed goldwork and finely carved wood.
