The Rajasthan government has taken an important initiative towards the goal of ‘One State, One Election’. Administrators were appointed in 49 municipal bodies on Monday. According to the notification of the autonomous department, the tenure of the elected boards of these bodies had ended on November 25. In view of the upcoming elections, the State Government has indicated to implement ‘One State, One Election’ by appointing administrators in these bodies till the formation of elected boards.
