Kisan Trust will give Chaudhary Charan Singh Award in three categories on 21st December.

Kisan Trust will present the Chaudhary Charan Singh Award in the memory of former Prime Minister and veteran farmer leader Chaudhary Charan Singh on December 21 at the Constitution Club in New Delhi. Awards will be given in three categories. The last date for nomination for this is December 5.
Managing Trustee of Kisan Trust, Bhola Shankar Sharma said on Wednesday that in order to express respect for the work done by former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh in the public interest and to spread his ideals to the common people, the Trust will organize the Chaudhary Charan Singh Memorial on December 21. Awards (CCS Awards). This felicitation ceremony will be organized every year in the month of December to commemorate the birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh (23 December).
He informed that the Trust will give a total of four awards in three categories namely Krishi Ratna, Seva Ratna and Kalam Ratna. Two awards will be given in the field of agriculture, in which one award will be given to a farmer doing special work in farming and the other award will be given to an agricultural scientist or institution. In the second category, the award will be given to a particular person or organization doing excellent work in the field of social justice and social welfare. In the third category, this award will be given to a special person who raises his voice in journalism and public interest through his writing, photography or video documentary.
For this, Kisan Trust has started the nomination process from 27th November. The last date for nomination is 5th December. Nomination of individual and organization can be sent to Kisan Trust through e-mail and letter.
The jury members of the award include Dr. Yashveer Singh, Chairman of Kisan Trust, Dr. A.K., former Director of Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa. Singh, former AMU Vice Chancellor Tariq Mansoor, senior NDTV journalist Sonia Singh and senior photojournalist Praveen Jain.
