2025 BMW F900 XR expected to launch in India soon!
2025 BMW F900 XR Has been unveiled in the international markets. The bike has received a few but significant changes compared to its predecessor.
Starting with the visuals, the F 900 XR shares the same fairing and other body panels as the previous bike. However, in 2025, it will get a new wind screen that will provide better and more comprehensive wind protection. New handguards have also been provided on the handlebar. BMW has introduced three new colors – Racing Red, Triple Black and Lightwhite along with Racing Blue Metallic.
BMW has also included a lot of electronics as standard in the bike. The bike gets LED DRLs, adaptive headlights, heated grips, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and engine drag torque control as standard. It also has BMW ABS Pro and Dynamic Brake Control.
Underneath the bodywork, there’s a steel frame that’s suspended by a new 43mm USD fork with preload, compression and rebound damping adjustments. There is a monoshock at the rear. The bike rides on new 17-inch wheels that are 1.8 kg lighter than the wheels on the previous bike and contribute to the 3 kg lighter weight of the new F 900 XR. Meanwhile, braking duties are taken care of by twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.
Powering the bike is an 895cc, twin-cylinder engine that produces 105bhp. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. BMW says it has retuned the Dynamic Ride mode for a sportier feel.
The new BMW F 900 XR is expected to go on sale in India in a few weeks.
