Ration cards are used not only for rationing but also for many other purposes. In such a situation, the Rajasthan government provides LPG gas cylinders to ration card holders at just Rs 450. So let’s know about it in detail –
Under this scheme, the Rajasthan government must pay only Rs 450 to the state ration card holders. Till now, gas cylinders were given under the Ujjwala scheme for Rs 450. However, people in Rajasthan who have ration cards can also take advantage of this scheme.
To take advantage of this facility, holders must first link their LPG ID with the ration card. Only after linking their LPG ID with a ration card they will be able to take advantage of this facility. Under this scheme of the Rajasthan government, more than one crore families are taking advantage of ration facilities at low prices. About 37 lakh families benefit from gas cylinders for Rs 450 under Ujjwala Yojana.
Under the Ujjwala scheme of the Government of India, only women living below the poverty line get benefits. To avail of this scheme, women must be 18 or above. A BPL card is necessary to take advantage of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. The bank account of beneficiary women must be linked to their Aadhar card. Apart from this, women must also have many documents, including an Aadhar card, ration card, BPL card, passport-size photo, and photocopy of a bank account.
