Gift to crores of BSNL users, now they will be able to do HD calling, just have to do this work
BSNL has launched VoLTE service for its 4G users. The government telecom company is going to launch 4G service commercially soon. BSNN has geared up to improve the network. The company has installed more than 50 thousand new 4G mobile towers, out of which more than 41 thousand mobile towers have gone live. Due to installation of 4G towers, connectivity has become better than before. It has become very easy for users to activate HD calling on 4G network. They just have to follow a few steps.
To enable HD calling on BSNL number, first of all users have to keep in mind that their SIM card is upgraded i.e. they are using 4G/5G enabled SIM card. BSNL is giving free 4G SIM card to its 2G/3G SIM card users. For this, users will have to visit their nearest telephone exchange or customer care center. After necessary document verification, the user will get a new 4G/5G SIM card for free.

To enable VoLTE on his number, the user will have to go to the messages of his phone. After this an SMS has to be sent to 53733. Users have to type ACTVOLTE in the message and send it to 53733. VoLTE service will be activated on the user’s number within a few minutes of sending the message. After the service is activated, HD calling can be made from the user’s number. However, to make HD calling, the user will have to live in an area with 4G network or they can also avail the benefits of HD calling by connecting to their home Wi-Fi.
BSNL will launch commercial 4G service across the country by June next year. Besides, the company is also testing 5G. In such a situation, by the end of next year, BSNL’s 5G service can also be seen in the metro. BSNL has added more than 65 lakh new mobile users to its network in the last three months. After the plans of private telecom companies became expensive, lakhs of users have joined the government telecom operator.
