Approval of 4100 MW thermal power plant for Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister expressed gratitude
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed his gratitude on the approval of the allocation of coal for a new thermal power plant of 4100 MW by the Standing Linkage Committee (Long Term) of the Government of India to increase the coal-based power capacity of the state.
The Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and said that this decision will help in meeting the energy requirements of the State. He also said that the establishment of the new power plant will lead to direct investment of ₹25,000 crore in the state and thousands of youth will get direct and indirect employment opportunities.
