The Central Government has approved Rs 147.66 crore for two major tourism projects of the state under the “Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment 2024-25” scheme. These projects include construction of Chitrotpala Film City and construction of Tribal and Cultural Convention Centre.
Cost and importance of projects
Among these projects, Chitrotpala Film City in Mana Toota Raipur will be constructed at a cost of Rs 95.79 crore, while the construction of Tribal and Cultural Convention Center will cost Rs 51.87 crore. The objective of these projects is to strengthen the tourism infrastructure in Chhattisgarh and present the unique culture of the state at the global level.
