Honeytrap case main complainant Harbhajan Singh passes away

New Delhi. Harbhajan Singh, the main complainant in the famous honeytrap case of Madhya Pradesh, has passed away. He was admitted to the hospital after his health deteriorated. Where he died during treatment. He was an engineer in Indore Municipal Corporation.

In fact, on September 17, 2019, when Congress was in power in Madhya Pradesh and Kamal Nath was the Chief Minister, the honeytrap scandal came to light. Harbhajan Singh, the then engineer of the Municipal Corporation in Indore, had complained about blackmailing in Palasia police station of Indore. After which the layers of the honeytrap started opening.

Harbhajan Singh had told in his complaint to Indore Police that four women were blackmailing him. After which all four women were arrested in this case. Harbhajan had said in the complaint that the women were blackmailing him in the name of video recording.

Show cause notice issued to 223 employees of civic bodies

In this entire matter, the police had formed a SIT and after the formation of the SIT, the charge sheet was presented in the court. After the complete hearing, Indore District Court released all the arrested accused on bail.

In this entire case, Shweta Swapnil Jain, Barkha Soni, Aarti Dayal, Shweta Jain and Monica were made accused by the police and presented before the court. At present all the accused have been released on bail.
