Lava Yuva 4: Lava has recently released an entry-level smartphone – Lava Yuva 4. This comes after the release of Lava Yuva 3 which was launched in February this year. The Lava Yuva 4 offers budget-friendly features to entry-level users in the sub-Rs 7,000 category. It has an attractive design, essential specifications for everyday use, and a competitive price. Available in multiple colors, it aims to provide value for money while meeting the needs of first-time smartphone users.

Lava Yuva 4: Price and availability

Lava Yuva 4 is priced starting at Rs 6,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the price of the 4GB + 128GB variant has not been disclosed. Available in Glossy White, Glossy Purple and Glossy Black, the smartphone will be available across Lava’s retail stores this month.

Buyers will also benefit from a one-year warranty and complimentary home service with their purchase.

Lava Yuva 4 features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring a better viewing experience. Under the hood, it is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM, which delivers reliable performance for everyday tasks. Users can choose between storage options, with up to 128GB of internal space available. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 14, which offers an updated and user-friendly interface.

In terms of photography, the device is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, which delivers detailed and clear photos. For selfies and video calls, it includes an 8-megapixel front camera housed within a centrally located hole-punch cutout on the display.

Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery, which ensures long-lasting usage throughout the day. It supports 10W wired charging, making it convenient to recharge. For added security, the Youth 4 includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick and secure unlocking.

The Lava Yuva 4 retains the same display, processor, RAM and storage capacity as its predecessor. But apart from that, there have been improvements in design, camera enhancements and charging support. Its battery capacity remains the same but the charging speed has now been reduced from 18W to 10W. Software-wise, the Yuva 4 also comes with Android 14 and is guaranteed to get the Android 15 update. Meanwhile, the Youth 3 running on Android 13 is said to be eligible for Android 14.
