Ira Khan had a grand wedding with Nupur Sikri in Udaipur on 10 January 2023, followed by a Taj Lands End registered marriage in Mumbai on 3 January 2024. The marriage of Aamir Khan daughter Ira Khan and Nupur was in the news because both of them got married in a unique style. Nupur Shikhare went jogging to pick up Ira Khan.

Nupur Shikhare arrived running with the wedding procession

Aamir Khan’s son-in-law and Ira Khan’s husband Nupur Shikhare had arrived running with the wedding procession. After several days, Aamir Khan’s daughter has explained the reason behind her husband’s decision. He told why Nupur had come running with the wedding procession. While giving an interview, Ira Khan said, ‘Nupur ran to the wedding venue because he did not want to climb on any animal. Ira Khan further said that this was the same route which Nupur regularly used to meet him during Covid-19.

Ira Khan told why her husband Nupur Shikhare had chosen this path. Couldn’t meet for a long time during Covid-19 as he lived in different parts of Mumbai That’s why when the lockdown arrangements were relaxed and people were allowed to come on the streets for exercise and running, then during that time Nupur also used to come on this route to meet him. He came running to her every day and wanted the same for her marriage. That’s why he decided to reach the wedding venue by jogging.
