Many types of schemes are being run in India to provide better health facilities to senior citizens. One of these is Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), with the help of which free medical treatment facilities are being provided to the elderly.
More than 14 lakh Ayushman Vay Vandana cards have been created
It has been informed that about 14 lakh Ayushman Vay Vandana cards have been made under this scheme. Under this, every medical facility will be provided to the elderly so that they do not have to face any kind of problem.
Through this, the elderly will be treated for many diseases including Hemodialysis/Peritoneal Dialysis, Acute Ischemic Stroke, Accelerated hypertension, Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement, PTCA. Many times people face a lot of trouble due to lack of proper medical services and in many cases they even lose their lives, in such a situation these facilities will prove to be very helpful.
