IPL’s youngest millionaire player, Vaibhav will not get full money, know the reason
New Delhi : Vaibhav Suryavanshi is India’s rising young cricket star, who came into limelight after the IPL 2025 mega auction. He is a part of the Indian team in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2024 and India’s first match was against Pakistan, in which Vaibhav could not perform well. However, despite his young age, he has achieved many important achievements. Rajasthan Royals bought him for Rs 1.10 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction, but do you know that they will not get the entire money?
Tax will be cut by 33 percent
In fact, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest crorepati of IPL, who was bought for many times more than the base price. However, a large part of the amount they receive will be deducted as tax. According to a report, Vaibhav may have to pay around 30 percent tax, which means that out of Rs 1.10 crore, around Rs 33 lakh will go in tax. In this way, he will get only about Rs 77 lakh.
These teams had also bid
Vaibhav’s earnings are taxable as they are earned from his individual skills and talents, such as earnings in sports, acting or other art fields. Due to this, he will not get any tax exemption on this amount. Delhi Capitals also had an eye on Vaibhav. He is a member of the India Under-19 team, which gives him more opportunities. He is only 13 years old, but he has already given many excellent performances. This was the reason that apart from Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals also bid for Vaibhav in IPL 2025, and Delhi made the first bid for Vaibhav in the auction.
