There has been an increase in the dearness allowance of these employees and pensioners, the salary will increase in the account from December and the arrears money will be available along with it.
After the 7th Pay Commission, now the Haryana Government has given the gift of DA to the government employees and pensioners working under the 5th and 6th Pay Commission. Before the new year, the Nayab Singh Saini government increased the pension DA by 7 percent for the employees taking the benefit of the 6th Pay Commission and the DA by 12% for the employees and pensioners covered under the 5th Pay Commission.
The new rates will be applicable from July 1, 2014, hence arrears for the month of July-September will be payable.

With 7 percent increase, employees and pensioners taking benefit of commission in sixth pay will get 246 percent DA instead of 249 percent. Similarly, according to the Fifth Pay Commission, DA of salaried employees and pensioners has increased by 12 percent. Now they will get 455 percent dearness allowance instead of 443 percent.
November salary will include increased DA in pension
The new rates will be applicable from July 2024, so employees and pensioners will be paid according to the increased DA from July. The total arrears of 4 months till July-September will be given along with the salary pension received in January whereas the increased DA in pension will be included in the salary received next month for November. Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana Finance Department, Anurag Rastogi has issued orders in this regard.
DA of these employees has already increased
It is noteworthy that in October, Haryana Government has increased the dearness allowance of employee pensioners taking the benefit of 7th Pay Commission by 3%. After which DA has increased from 50% to 53%. The new rates have come into effect from July 1, 2024. In such a situation, the outstanding arrears for the months of July to September will be paid in December.
However, the increased DA has been released in the November salary only at the end of October. After this increase, if the monthly basic salary of a government employee is Rs 50 thousand. So with 3% increase in DA, he will now get additional Rs 1500.
