Mumbai. The political deadlock continues in Maharashtra, with the post of Chief Minister still undecided, a week after the election results were declared on November 23. Caretaker Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde said that as a common man his roots are connected with the people of the state.

Shinde’s comment came just before the BJP Legislature Party meeting, in which the party is going to elect its new leader. This development happened after his meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi three days ago. Political developments: In the ongoing discussions, Shinde has made his stand clear regarding the formation of the grand coalition government. He said that he will not hinder any decision taken by NDA leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, indicating that he is ready to accept their decisions.

Shinde told The Indian Express, I was the people’s Chief Minister. In fact, I used to say that I am not just a Chief Minister but a common man. As a common man, I understood the problems and pain of the people and tried to solve them. Since I worked as a common man, people obviously felt that I should become the Chief Minister.
Upcoming leadership decision: BJP’s Legislative Assembly members are preparing to choose their new leader soon. This decision is important to decide who will lead the government of Maharashtra amid this political deadlock. The results of this meeting can affect the political scenario of the state to a great extent.
