A camp for adding names to the voter list was organized at MD Jain Inter College, Sirsaganj.

During the camp, young voters were given a pledge to maintain democratic decorum. The work of giving applications to new voters was also done. In this camp, online Form-6 was filled through the Voter Helpline App to get the names of students who completed 18 years of age on January 1, 2025 added to the voter list. ELC Assistant Nodal Officer Himanshu Sharma said that you should follow these steps to include your name in the voter list.
First, verify whether you meet the eligibility criteria for voter registration. You must be a citizen of India aged 18 years or above as on 1 January of the year of revision of the electoral roll and not be disqualified by law.
Election Commission has made the registration process simple and easy by introducing online registration facilities. To start the registration process, visit the National Voter Service Portal (NVSP) website or download the Voter Helpline app on your mobile.
After this fill the online Form 6, which is the application for adding your name to the voter list. Fill in correct personal details like name, date of birth and address and upload reference documents as required.
Confirm that it was submitted during the registration process. All documents and proof submitted are valid and up to date. Accepted supporting documents include Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving License or any other identification issued by the government.
After submitting your form, a Booth Level Officer (BLO) is provided. Will perform a field validation to verify the details.

In case of any error or amendment in your details, you can use Form 8 for amendment or Form 8A for transfer of your name within the constituency. It is mandatory for citizens to make Voter ID card, which is necessary for many government services.
