Alwar, 1 December (Hindustan Reporter). As winter is becoming more severe, incidents of cow smuggling are also increasing in the area. On Sunday, a cart filled with 24 cows was caught on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajgarh police station area by Rajgarh police and cow protectors in a joint action.

ASI Dhara Singh said that during patrolling, information was received that cows were being transported in a vehicle near Pinan on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. When the cow protectors and police chased him, the driver ran away leaving the vehicle loaded with cows. The police have sent the cows to Bhaurangi Dham Gaushala in Rajgarh town. Police have registered a case in this regard and have started searching for the driver. Cow protectors told that the cow smugglers had covered their vehicle with tarpaulin, due to which no one could guess that it was filled with cows. Such incidents increase in winter. Even before on the expressway, many vehicles have been caught by the smugglers and handed over to the police.
