Agartala-Kolkata bus attacked in Bangladesh, anti-India slogans raised

– Condemnation of Tripura Minister Sudhanshu, demand for action

Agartala, 30 November (HS). Tripura Transport Minister Sudhanshu Choudhary has condemned the attack on Shyamali Transport passenger bus going from Agartala (Tripura) to Kolkata on Brahmanbaria Biswar Road in Bangladesh. He has demanded action against the people involved in the incident.

On Saturday, Minister Sudhanshu Chaudhary said that a Shyamoli Transport bus was attacked at Brahmanbaria Biswar Road in Bangladesh while going from Tripura capital Agartala to Kolkata. Almost all the passengers on that bus are Indians. The passengers of the bus got scared due to this incident.

He told that when the bus was passing through Brahmanbaria Bishwa Road, suddenly a goods truck deliberately hit the bus. Then an auto came in front of the bus on the road and there was a head-on collision. After this incident, the local people threatened the Indian passengers of the crowded bus in various ways. Not only this, they raised anti-India slogans and also threatened to kill the passengers. Minister Sudhanshu Chaudhary said the Indian passengers of the bus were in fear of death.

Minister Sudhanshu condemned the entire incident and said that this kind of arrogance is not acceptable. All of them should be dealt with sternly. They strongly condemn this incident and urge the country’s administration to immediately intervene to ensure the safety of the Indian passengers of the bus.
