High-flying Al Shabab will look to continue their strong start to the Saudi Pro League season as they take on defending champions Al Hilal. Al Hilal were expected to take their unbeaten run to 47 games when they were 2-0 up against Al Khaleej but they lost the lead easily which resulted in a defeat for them. Players to Watch
Cristian Guanca(Al Shabab)
The Argentinian has experience in playing in the Saudi Pro League and has performed well for many top clubs. Guanca is known for his intelligence on the pitch and he is the midfield maestro for Al Shabab. He will be a big problem for Al Hilal if they fail to control him.
His versatility is his biggest weapon and he can find his teammates from any part of the pitch. Guanca’s passing is top-notch and he rarely makes any mistakes.
Marcus Leonardo (Al Hilal)
Leonardo is a player who combines pure poacher instincts with solid on-the-ball ability. He doesn’t rely solely on movement into the box and final third to get his goals and impact the team’s overall performance. He tends to move well between the half-spaces and drop deep to try and be part of the play rather than an isolated attacker waiting on his chance to pounce on any through ball given. He is small in stature but is relatively physical as he doesn’t get bullied off the ball, often it is under his control.
