New Delhi: Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey was reportedly found dead in her apartment in Bihar’s Bhagalpur on Saturday (April 27, 204). It is being said that the 27-year-old star died by suicide. However, the matter is still under investigation.

According to online reports, Amrita had shared a cryptic note on her WhatsApp status hours before her tragic demise. “Do naav me savaar thi uski zindagi, humne apni naav duba ke uska safar aasaan kar diya (Their life was aboard two boats, we made their journey easier by sinking our own boat),” it read. The post is now going viral on social media.

As per indiatoday.in, Amrita Pandey was found dead under suspicious circumstances. The media outlet further claimed that the material seized from the spot includes a saree noose around the neck, a mobile and other materials. A high-profile inquiry into Amrita’s death was ordered by the police.

Her sister was quoted saying that Amrita was deeply worried about her career and was undergoing treatment for depression. Her poor mental health was a result of the shortage of opportunities in the industry. An official announcement regarding Amrita’s sudden death is yet to be made by her better half and family.

Amrita was also known by the name Annapurna. She was said to be living with her husband in Mumbai. No suicide note was found at her home at the time of her passing. Amrita’s relative claimed that she has worked in several films, web series and advertisements in multiple languages.
