Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao announced the names of individuals and institutions selected for state decorations, honors and awards in a press conference held in the auditorium of Mahant Ghasidas Museum Complex in Raipur. 35 decorations, honors and awards are being given by 16 departments of the state government, for which 4 institutions and 38 individuals have been selected. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will present these awards and honors at the closing ceremony of Rajyotsav in Naya Raipur on 6 November. On behalf of the state government and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Sao has congratulated all the individuals and institutions selected for state decorations, honors and awards. Governor Ramen Deka will preside over the ceremony at tomorrow’s event. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will be present as special guests. At the closing ceremony of the State Investiture Ceremony and Rajyotsav, various personalities of Chhattisgarh will be honored with State Investiture for their achievements and contribution in the development of the state.

Shaheed Veernarayan Singh Award for the upliftment of tribal backward classes will be given to Butlu Ram Mathra. Yeti Yatanlal Samman in the field of non-violence and cow protection will be given to Manohar Gaushala Khairagarh, Gundadhoor Samman will be given to Chhoti Mehra for excellent performance in the field of sports, Maharaja Pravirchand Bhanjdev Samman will be given to Vikas Kumar for excellent performance in the field of Khel (archery). Minimata Award Parvati Dhidhi in the field of women upliftment, Veerangana Rani Avantibai Lodhi Memorial Award for empowering bravery, courage, courage and self-confidence among women, Aditi Kashyap and the struggle against oppression of women, Mata Bahadur Kalarin Award for women upliftment Kumari Chitrarekha. Sinha, Guru Ghasidas Award in the field of social consciousness and Dalit upliftment by Rajendra Rangeela (Squirrel), Cooperation Department.
