The weather may change in the evening. There is a possibility of rain or drizzle during the night. There may be some improvement in the weather after the rain.

AQI reached 400 in many areas

Due to low wind speed and other local reasons, the climate in the capital has again reached the very bad category. Also, the air quality index was recorded beyond 400 in four areas. Delhi's air was the most polluted in NCR on Thursday. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air in four areas was recorded in the severe category. Among these, 425 AQI was recorded in Nehru Nagar, 421 in Jahangirpuri, 411 in Mundka and 405 in ITO.

Also, air was recorded in very poor category in 31 areas. Among these, Shadipur had the highest AQI of 398, while Anand Vihar had 393, Patpatganj 391, Sonia Vihar 390, Wazirpur 389, Rohini 388, Okhla Phase 2 and New Moti Bagh 382 index which was considered very poor category. goes. The air was recorded in poor category in two areas. Of these, 297 AQI was recorded in Dilshad Garden and 293 in Aya Nagar, which is in the poor category.
