It is very normal for kitchen towels to smell bad, especially during the rainy season.

Remove bad smell with lemon and salt

The foul smell coming from kitchen towels can be removed by using lemon and salt. Along with cutting the dirt, lemon also works to remove the bad smell. To deep clean a kitchen towel and remove its foul smell, first squeeze the juice of two lemons in a bucket of water and add a tablespoon of salt to it. Mix them well.

Now soak a kitchen towel in it and keep it for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, wash the towel normally and dry it in the sun.

Use tea tree oil

You can also use tea tree oil to remove the bad smell of kitchen towels. This oil is rich in antibacterial and antifungal properties. To use it, first take water in a bucket and add a few drops of tea tree oil to it and mix it well.

Now soak a kitchen towel in it and keep it for some time. After some time, clean the towel thoroughly using normal detergent and put it in the sun to dry. This will remove all the dirt from the kitchen towel and the bad smell coming from it will also be eliminated.

Use fabric softener

Fabric softener can also be used to eliminate the bad smell of kitchen towels. There are many fabric softeners available in the market, which smell very good. To use fabric softener, first clean the kitchen towel thoroughly with a scented detergent.

Now take 2-3 mugs of water in a bucket. Add half a capful of fabric softener to it and mix it well. Now soak a kitchen towel in it and leave it for 5-10 minutes. After this, squeeze out the water and dry it in sunlight or fan.
