The month of December is starting from tomorrow, and the last month of this year is bringing many changes in your life. These changes will have a direct impact on your pocket and daily routine.

Changes in rules related to finance
Many rules related to finance are going to change from December 1, 2024. If you are connected to EPFO, then note that it is very important to activate your UAN. Today i.e. 30th November is the last day to activate it. It is very important to ensure that you can avail all the facilities of EPFO.

Change in price of gas cylinder
On the first of every month, oil marketing companies change the price of LPG cylinder. Last month, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder had increased. There is a possibility of some changes this month also. Meanwhile, there has been no significant change in the price of domestic gas cylinder.

Changes in SBI credit card rules
If you use SBI credit card on digital gaming platforms, you will not get reward points from December 1. This change will be important for all users, especially those who take advantage of this feature extensively.

Possible delay in OTP delivery
TRAI’s new traceability rules may come into effect from December 1. These rules make messages sent from telecom companies traceable. Although this change may cause delays in OTP delivery, it will provide protection from spam and phishing.

December bank holidays
There will be a total of 17 days of bank holidays in December. These holidays will be based on festivals and events in different states. The second and fourth Saturdays as well as all Sundays will be included in these holidays.

It is mandatory to activate UAN
The Government of India has fixed November 30 as the last date for activating UAN for new employees. This is necessary so that you can avail PF, pension, insurance and other benefits. Link your Aadhar card with your bank account and complete the process in time.
