The names of some terrorists who died in India’s strike have now been revealed, including Mohammad Yusuf Azhar, close to Maulana Masood Azhar. Mohammad Yusuf Azhar belonged to the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. He was the brother-in-law of Maulana Masood Azhar and was wanted in the IC-814 aircraft kidnapping case. Pakistan’s militants kidnapped the IC-814 aircraft of Indian Airlines on 24 December 1999. This aircraft was coming to Delhi from Kathmandu. The Indian aircraft was released on the condition of releasing 3 terrorists including Maulana Masood Azhar. Mohammad Yusuf Azhar was also among those who carried out this conspiracy.

Significantly, Yusuf was included in the list of interpol’s fugitives. He was also named in the list of 20 fugitives given by the Government of India in 2002 to Islamabad. Mohammad Yusuf Azhar had many names. Mohammad Yusuf Azhar was also known as Ustad Ji alias Mohammad Salim alias Ghosi Saheb.
