Bihar Pavilion and Exhibition of Developed Bihar got Gold Medal in Indian International Trade Fair.
Patna, 24 November (IANS). Bihar has won the gold medal for its spectacular exhibition in the 43rd edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) held at Pragati Maidan in the country’s capital Delhi. This medal was awarded to Nikhil Dhanraj Nipanikar, the nodal officer of the project of Bihar, in the felicitation ceremony held on Wednesday evening. During this, Industries Department Secretary Vandana Preyasi and Industries Director Alok Ranjan Ghosh were also present.
Expressing happiness on winning the medal, Vandana Preyasi said, “We express our respect to IITF for appreciating our efforts through the gold medal. Bihar has made unprecedented progress in the last few years. We hope to make Bihar a world leader by 2047.” We are committed to making a developed state and are implementing investment-friendly policies accordingly. I am happy to say that investment is continuously increasing in Bihar. Are.”
Alok Ranjan Ghosh said, “This honor received by Bihar is very encouraging for us. It will further strengthen our efforts towards the development goals of 2047. Bihar, known for its art and culture, has today become the first choice of investors as well. The development of the state is providing new opportunities for investors every day.
Nikhil Dhanraj Nipanikar, overwhelmed with the honour, said, “This honor received by Bihar reflects the love of the people towards the art, culture and heritage of Bihar and its fame in the country and abroad. This honor is proof that we are working towards a developed Bihar 2047. Bihar is moving rapidly on the path of progress and we have full hope that it will be successful in achieving the development goals of 2047.”
It is noteworthy that on Sunday, Bihar’s Industry and Tourism Minister Nitish Mishra had inaugurated the Bihar Pavilion and cultural program, which was the center of special attraction that day. Bihar was the partner state this year, hence the Bihar pavilion was designed in accordance with the theme of the fair, Developed India 2047.
The Bihar pavilion had a total of 75 stalls showcasing handloom, khadi, and handloom products from the state. Babban booti of Nalanda, Bhagalpuri silk, Madhubani paintings of Mithila, Tikuli art of Patna and other artefacts were put up for sale and display.
The pavilion was designed around the theme of the special cultural and historical heritage of Bihar. The entrance was designed as ‘Civilization Gate’, emblazoned with the ‘Vikas Bihar 2047’ logo. Bihar Museum was in the center of the pavilion.
