BMW Motorrad will increase prices by 2.5 percent, new rates will be applicable from January

New Delhi, 29 November (HS). BMW Motorrad, the two-wheeler unit of German car manufacturer BMW, has announced an increase in the prices of all its vehicles by 2.5 percent. The new rates will be applicable from January 1, 2025.

The company said in a statement issued on Friday that BMW Motorrad will increase the prices of all its vehicles by 2.5 percent from January 1, 2025. The company said the decision to increase the price has been taken due to increase in overall raw material costs and inflationary pressure.

Earlier, BMW India had already announced to increase the prices of all its cars by three percent from January. Mercedes-Benz India has also announced an increase of up to three percent in the prices of its vehicles in India from the new year.

It is noteworthy that two-wheeler manufacturer BMW Motorrad officially started its operations as the Indian subsidiary of BMW Group in April 2017. The brand sells a range of premium motorcycles and scooters in the country.
