Bol Bomb Kavad
When we talk about the Kandar Yatra, the name of “Bol Bomb” first comes in the mind. This journey is the most viewed and popular. In this, devotees pick up the kavad on their shoulders and walk barefoot and keep shouting “Bol Bomb” during the journey. In this journey, devotees can sit anywhere and relax, but Kavad is not kept on the ground. Special stand is used for this.
The distance and difficulty of the journey is, but the permission of rest makes it simply. This is the reason why the number of people participating in the Bol Bomb Kavad Yatra is the highest, and this journey is also a test of physical stamina as well as physical stamina.
Khadi Kavad
The rule of standing kavad is a bit harder than the Bol Bomb Kavad. In this journey, it is completely forbidden to keep Kavad stable in one place. During the journey, when devotees get tired and want to rest, a colleague takes Kavad in his hand and keeps moving so that Kavad is never stable. This rule makes this journey more physically and mentally challenging.
Walking every moment is the biggest examination of this journey, and this rule is difficult not only for the devotee, but also for his colleague. If you want to get to the extreme examination of self -control and dedication, then the standing kanvad is a difficult but impressive option.
Swing kanvad
Jhula Kavad is named because of its special design. It is a special kavad made of bamboo, with pots hanging on both ends, which is filled with Ganga water. During the journey, devotees keep it on their shoulders, but when you have to rest, it is strictly forbidden to keep it on the ground below. Special swing stand is also used for this.
The biggest challenge in the swing kavad is that it has to be kept balanced. Both mats should have equal weight, otherwise the balance of kavad can deteriorate and travel can be difficult. Its rules and caution make it more mentally mental challenge.
Dak kavad
Dak Kavad is considered to be the most difficult form of Kavad Yatra, and there are many solid reasons behind it. Devotees do not stop even for a moment after filling Ganga water in this journey. They have to reach the Shiva temple within 24 hours and perform Jalabhishek. During this time they run continuously or walk fast, do not rest at all.
Devotees of Dak Kanwar especially wear white clothes and no one can stop them during the journey. In view of their speed and dedication, separate routes are made for them in Shiva temples. The compulsion to stop, walking continuously day and night and completing the journey in limited time makes it the most difficult.
