BRS committed massive corruption in irrigation projects but now there will be no governance from farm house: Priyanka Gandhi
Zaheerabad, 28 November (HS). Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said that incidents of attacks and rape on women have increased in the state. He participated in the road show organized in Zaheerabad as part of the election campaign. During this, the Telangana government led by Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao was fiercely attacked. He said that if he has achieved Telangana for jobs, then this promise has not been fulfilled. Unemployed youth were misled and examination papers were leaked and corruption was done.
Priyanka said that the BRS government has committed large-scale corruption in irrigation projects. Due to this the dreams of the people of Telangana have been shattered. He said that there is corruption at every level in the present government. So far, none of the projects including Kaleshwaram Irrigation Project has been actually completed.
Priyanka Gandhi criticized the BJP and BRS government and said that BRS, BJP and MIMIM are supporting each other. The Congress leader said that Bharat Rashtra Samithi has become the richest party in the country and BJP has given the country’s wealth to its industrialist friends.
Priyanka Gandhi said that under the rule of Bharat Rashtra Samiti, even if a small work is to be done, commission has to be paid. That money went into the pockets of Bharat Rashtra Samiti leaders. Now they are going to give it to you in bulk in the name of election management. All that money is yours…it should be yours only. If Bharat Rashtra Samiti gets a chance again, they will loot the remaining land also through ‘Dharani’. Corruption will skyrocket and debt will increase tenfold. Be it Bharatiya Janata Party or Bharat Rashtra Samiti, their policy is only to remain in power and become rich and the leaders of these parties are also getting rich. He alleged that the state would drown in liquor.
He said that the Bharat Rashtra Samiti government is not concerned about the farmers who have been committing suicide due to debt and lack of credit in the last ten years. He alleged that if you go to the MLAs regarding the problems, they will not open their mouths.
In the Bharat Rashtra Samithi government, only the Chief Minister’s family and those close to the leaders of that party got employment, but the common people did not get anything. He said that when the youth who shed their blood for Telangana took the examination for jobs, the question papers were leaked.
Priyanka, while appealing to the people to vote for Congress in the assembly elections to be held on November 30, listed 6 guarantees by the party. He said that big leaders of Telangana are sitting in their mansions and farm houses and running the government. Attacking BRS, Priyanka said that now they should be taught a lesson that the people of Telangana are not for sale.
