BSNL has decided to shut down one of its special service. The government telecom company will replace it with the AI based new system. The company has decided to go towards AI after a request from users. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has decided to close Personalized Ringbank Tone (PRBT). It will be replaced by AI based service after the request of Prapol (RFP) receiving the Enterprise Customers.
This decision of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will affect the Closed User Group (CUG) subscribers. Apart from this, users taking bulk connections will also be affected by this decision of the public sector firm. Last month, BSNL closed its PRBT service. Now the company will not offer this service with any recharge to users. According to the ET Telecom report, after the service was closed, the company’s customer service center came to many queries related to it.
AI based platform will replace
BSNL is preparing to replace its PRBT service with AI based platform. For this, the company has prepared to bring the ad-funded model, which will create a new revionw system for the company. According to the ET Telecom report, the company’s chairman A Robert Ravi said that we are converting BSNL’s PRBT service into a customer driving cloud native or AI drivers platform. In this, users will be offered personalized service. It will be done to integrate it through OTT apps.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited offers its users with long-term plan and recharge to its users. Apart from this, the company will soon complete the work of rolling out 4G service across India. For this, work is being done to install 1 lakh new 4G mobile towers. Out of these, more than 80 thousand towers have been installed. Apart from this, the company will also prepare for 5G service from June this year.
