Five people have died in the chaos at the Indian Air Force (IAF) Chennai Air Show. Apart from this, there are reports of more than 250 people injured who have been admitted to the hospital. The air show was held today, October 6, at Chennai’s Marina Beach, which reportedly led to a stampede due to crowd management irregularities. Officials said they expected at least 10 lakh people to gather at Chennai’s Marina Beach for the air show and arrangements were made accordingly. “People started gathering on the beach as early as 7 am and when the show ended, they left around 1 pm.
