Competition to make a film on ‘Operation Sindoor’, from Sunil Shetty to T-Series applied
After the military attacks carried out by India in Pakistan, there is a competition to apply for the film title related to ‘Operation Sindoor’ in Bollywood. The filmmakers have applied for more than 30 title register in just two days.
Applications for registration include Operation Sindoor, Mission Sindoor and Sindoor: The Revenge and other titles. Under the vengeance of the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Armed Forces carried out missile attacks on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir under the ‘Operation Sindoor’.
The ‘Operation Sindoor’ of the Indian Army continues. Meanwhile, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA), Film and Television Producers Council (IFTPC) and Western India Film Producers Association (WIFPA) have received many applications for registration of film title related to ‘Operation Sindoor’.
IMPPA Secretary Anil Nagrath said, we have received applications for more than 30 titles. This number can reach 50-60. Most people are applying for the names ‘Operation Sindoor’ and ‘Mission Sindoor’. A person can apply for more than one title, but the one who applies first gets the title.
Producers and filmmakers are planning to make a film on this subject by registering these titles, as it is a matter of pride for India. Nagrath said that in the past he has received applications for Kargil, Uri, Kumbh and other titles.
At present, the titles for which applications are being applied include ‘Hindustan Ka Sindoor’, ‘Mission Operation Sindoor’ and ‘Sindoor Ka Badla’. Applications have also been received for ‘Pahalgam: The Terror Attack’, ‘Pahalgam Attack’ and other titles in the name of Pahalgam.
According to sources, Aditya Dhar, who directed the 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike based on the 2016 Uri attack and India’s counter-attacks, is included in actor Sunil Shetty, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, Vivek Agnihotri, Ashok Pandit, production banner T-series T-series who have applied for the above mentioned titles.
